FAQs
What should I expect when I visit?
1
You can expect a simple, welcoming church service centered on worship, Bible teaching, and fellowship. We teach through Scripture, pray together, and make room for people to grow in their walk with Jesus without pressure or performance.
What time is service?
2
We currently meet on Sundays at 2:00 PM. You’re welcome to come a few minutes early, grab a coffee, get settled, ask questions, and meet a few friendly faces before service begins.
What should I wear?
3
Come as you are. Some people dress casually, some dress up a bit, and most are somewhere in between. We care much more about you being here than what you’re wearing.
Do you have kids ministry?
4
Yes. We have children’s ministry available during service. Our heart is to create a safe, simple, loving space where kids can learn about Jesus in a way they can understand.
We are currently a one-room schoolhouse for children up to age 12. Children join us for worship and are then dismissed before the teaching.
Baby and toddler care is also available when volunteers are available.
What kind of church is this?
Do I need a Bible background?
Not at this time. We’re praying the Lord would bring the right leader to help shepherd our youth. In the meantime, our youth are welcome in the main service, and we’ve been encouraged to see them engage with the Bible teaching.
Calvary Chapel Santa Rosa Beach is a Bible-teaching church. We desire to know Jesus, grow in His Word, love one another well, and be faithful right where God has planted us.
Our teaching is centered on the Bible. We usually go verse by verse and chapter by chapter, explaining the text with a desire to understand God’s Word and apply it honestly.
Think: open Bible, discovering Jesus, navigating real life, and finding steady footing on the foundation of His Word.
Nope. Just come. You don’t need to have everything figured out, know “church language,” or have a perfect Sunday morning. We’re glad to welcome you whether you’re just starting to ask questions or you’ve walked with Jesus for years.
Yes. You can reach out through our contact page with any questions, or come say hello on a Sunday or Wednesday night. We’d be happy to help you to know where to go and what to expect.
